Manic Monday – Heart

Head over toIt’s a Blog eat blog world to participate in this weeks Manic Monday where the word this week is HEART.

The word heart makes me think of Valentines Day. I see beautiful pink and red hearts not veiny, pumping hearts.

When I doodle I tend to draw hearts. I always wondered what that says about me. Let’s look it up now. Well according to this site, it means I am a sentimentalist. Ok, I’ll take that.

Taking care of your heart means more than eating right to me.

According to this site these are the top 25 Heart healthy foods.

Taking care of your heart means:

Surrounding yourself with people who love you and you love back.

Surrounding yourself with things you love.

Being the best you that you can be.

Loving yourself.

Continuing your knowledge.

Seeing each day for the beautiful gift it is.

One of the most important things I want to tell my daughter is, “marry someone who takes care of your heart. Someone who knows you, cares for your feelings, soothes your concerns, acknowledges your accomplishments and loves you with every ounce of their own heart. Someone who will think before they speak.”

My heart was hurt today and that is because I live with someone who has no idea how to take care of my heart.

Aww. My hearts feels your pain.

I don’t have a daughter, but I’ve often said to my niece, any every girl who will listen, When someone loves you, really values you deeply, the words “I love You” need never be spoken.

The best advice for finding a caretaker of the heart is to search for a best of friend and marry him or her.

  7. Maria, I’m sorry someone hurt you. Maybe telling him(?) would help… maybe he didn’t realize…

Sheila, Thank you. I hope she listens. I am always happy. Smile! Thanks for visiting my blog.

Stine, I actually wasn’t sad when I wrote it. Thank you so much for reading it and finding it lovely. I love that word by the way.

Sister, You are right. It isn’t the words that are important it is totally the actions. The words aren’t necessary if the intentions aren’t there.

Comedy, Thanks for visiting. I am happy you liked it. I had no idea what I was going to write about when I started out so the post basically wrote itself.

Jamie, I appreciate your words and totally agree with you. I believe friendship is very important in a marriage.

I married my best friend or so I thought. He is an interesting character. He doesn’t see us as friends anymore because we are married. We really love each other and like being together. He would rather be home than anywhere else. He just isn’t the type to worry about how his words affect people. He just is!

Mary, Thank you for reading and your wisdom. He didn’t realize at all because he just shoots from his hip. Words don’t matter to some but to others they are everything. I am someone who reads into words.
