My First Giveaway – We Have A Winner
Well, this morning we held the official drawing for my very first giveaway. It was so much fun and I can’t wait to hold another one. I printed out everyone’s comments, cut them up, folded them, put them in the Official Box or in this case an empty coffee can/plastic thingy.

Manic Monday – Will
Will the Word of the week from Mo at It’s A Blog Eat Blog World brings up 3 very specific thoughts for me.
1 – Will – The document that will enpower me long after I am gone to make sure that my children are taken care of should their father and I leave them before their adulthood.
We have talked about who we would want to take care of the kids and we have spoken to that person as well but we have yet to actually pay a lawyer to do the paper work for us.
A friend of mine recently did her will with her husband and again I am thinking about it.
2 – Will – I ever get out of debt with the IRS. This year my husbands company did well but not well enough for us to pay them the huge sum of money we owe. If you have ever owed the IRS you know their fees are higher than the Mafia (why did I captialize mafia?)
3 – Will my son be going to Kindergarten this year? I am still on the fence about this. I am not sure which one I should be beefing for September. Do I celebrate the whole big boy going to Kindergarten or should I show him his new preschool? I am going to take the next two months and decide by August. The school is ok with this decision so why not take my time?

Kelsey Briggs Day is April 28th.

My To Do List
- Make appointment for kids at Peds (3 & 5 year check up)
- Get out invites for Son’s 5th Birthday
- Pick up all party stuff
- Go through Spring, Summer clothes to see what fits, what can be given away, what is going on EBay.
- Wash all clothes that will be worn by my kids that have been in storage.
- Think about birthday gifts for Son and best friend.
- Plan a trip with my sister for June to our Childhood town with our kids in tow.
- Finish spring cleaning
- Look into a bed for my daughter. (We promised her crib to best friend’s brother and the girl will need something to sleep on).
- Go through toys, book and games to see what is staying what is going.
- Think about communion gift for my nephew.
- Mother’s day is around the corner – Think about Grandma and Mother-in-law gifts.
- Get beach stuff out of storage and ready to rock n roll.
- Order contacts for myself.
- Order wood for next winter
- Clean out bedroom of all bags and stuff going to said best friend’s brother.
- Organize storage unit for fall and winter stuff.
- Clean all computers of old unused stuff.
- Order pictures because I will be a year behind this coming August.
- Get more photo albums
- Pick up water shoes and swim suits for both kids.
- Find a home for a car seat and stroller that are no longer needed.
- Clean out car of all fall & winter stuff.
Why do I like working from lists? Seeing all the things I have to do in one list makes me ill.
